Melody Huang's Professional Experience

As a prize-winner and recipient of numerous competitions, festivals and scholarships both in Australia and abroad, Melody has developed a reputation as an exciting virtuoso and an innovative pianist, composer and chamber musician.

Having completed her undergraduate degree in the United Kingdom, she was subsequently offered a scholarship to undertake a Master of Music in Piano Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

In addition to her appearance as a concert pianist, Ms. Huang has over 12 years teaching experiences. Those extensive teaching experiences include piano pedagogy, music theory, composition and aural perceptions. She has taught at the most prestigious private high school cranbrook, Bondi public school. 

Teaching areas:

• Prepare students for AMEB/ABRSM piano and Music Theory/Aural exams (students achieve an average result of Distinction).
• Provided students with extra materials to enrich overall understanding and enthusiasm for the arts.
• Prepared students for concerts, school competitions, eisteddfod.
